Summer came and washed away my winter tears

Then I knew what I was waiting for these years

So when you came into my life, I didn’t wait

Summer is no time to hesitate

But then autumn rolled around and we grew distant and cold

Things that brought us close began to feel so old

And when November came you couldn’t hear my call

Autumn left no trace of you at all

Then the winds of fate

They grew stronger in the winter
