The World Is a Circle

김수윤

The world’s not a square, not a line you can trace

It spins in circles, soft and slow

Wish people could live like that too

A little more gentle, a little less cold

I opened up, I let love in

Hoped for warmth, got hurt again

Guess in this world, if you’re real

You end up looking like the fool

The world is a circle

And I’m just the same

Looking for someone

To spin through the storm and the rain

Would it be so hard

To be honest and kind?

If hearts were round like the world

We’d all be fine

How do they lie with such grace in their voice?

How do they shine when it’s all just noise?

One day the mirror will show

They were only shadows, never real glow

I dream of a place where peace is loud

Where truth don’t need to hide in crowds

Where I can breathe, love what I do

And leave a trace that feels like truth

The world is a circle

And I’m just the same

Looking for someone

To spin through the storm and the rain

Would it be so hard

To be honest and kind?

If hearts were round like the world

We’d all be fine

And maybe I'm naive

Still hoping for that kind of dream

But I’d rather break

Than be someone I don't believe

The world is a circle

And I’m a circle too

If we loved without edges

Maybe we'd make it through

So draw me in your line

Let’s make something true

This round world keeps spinning

And I’ll spin with you
