Finding just a glimpse of hope
Only comfort was a poem
Making things up as we go
Made a promise finding gold

Six months past since late October
Growing up so very slowly
Time is never getting slower

Made some memories while we could

Made excuses not to sober
But we still had lots of fun

Windows down we smoked some pot
